The village is situated in the northern part of Litovelsko, 278 m above sea level. Other 7 municipalities are associated with Bílá Lhota: Červená Lhota, Řimice, Hrabí, Měník, Pateřín, Hradečná and Nové Mlýny. The neighbouring area has always been known for its farming, particularly growing of cereals; it was also known for its stone and lime quarries.

The municipality Bílá Lhota is situated in the gate consisting of the hook of the Zábřežská pahorkatina /hills/ on the southeast and the Nízký /Low/ Jeseník on the north at the point where the river Morava enters the Hornomoravský úval /Upper Moravian Ravine/ from the west, 278 m above sea level. Other seven municipalities are associated with Bílá Lhota: Červená Lhota, Řimice, Hrabí, Měník, Pateřín, Hradečná and Nové Mlýny. The neighbouring area has always been known for its farming, particularly growing of cereals; it was also known for its stone and lime quarries. Bílá Lhota is situated close to the most attractive parts of Litovelsko – the castle Bouzov, the Javoříčské and Mladečské caves. From the top of the hill, where it is located, there is a beautiful view of the church in the neighbouring village Měrotín as well as the rest of the area.

Certainly the most attractive point is the Arboretum, which offers the collection of 500 kinds of herbs and woody species to be explored and admired. The Chapel of St. Cyril and Methodius is situated not far from Měník, there are several interesting historical statues on the cemetery. In the associated municipalities the most attractive spots are the Orthodox Church of St. Ludmila in Řimice, forest Doubravka and water power station at Nové Mlýny.

Nowadays in Bílá Lhota there are 49 houses. Cultural events are quite specific, in winter one can enjoy the season of dancing balls, in summer they organise the traditional Tour through the fairy forest at Řimice.
